The Vatsala Durga Temple on the left side, built of sandstone and completed in 1672, was later completely destroyed in the earthquake of 25 April 2015. Reconstruction began in 2017. The Chyasilin Mandap Temple on the right represents a reinforced construction of the old temple destroyed in the earthquake of 1934. It survived the 2015 earthquake.
