View upstream. The glacial lake outburst flood (GLOF) process chain of 2020 has eroded the banks of the flow channel, resulting in many landslides, e.g. in the right foreground of the photo. Some of them might have temporarily blocked the river, with the consequence of secondary flooding due to breaching of those natural dams.
