View from the vicinity of the Carretera San Nicolás over the W slope of the Cumbre Vieja in SE direction. The cinder cone Volcán de Tajogaite (1120 m) newly formed in a period of three months at the end of 2021, during an eruption which produced extensive lava flows covering farmland, buildings, and roads.
