Macizo de Teno with Barranco Mancha de los Díaz

WI_ctf726.jpg

Once having formed a separate volcanic island, the Teno mountains represent one of the oldest parts of Tenerife, and are characterized by deeply incised valleys (barrancos) and a broad variety of ecological niches. The rain-shaded W slopes are rather arid. Viewpoint in the vicinity of Degollada del Roque.
