Seckau Tauern | Hölltal Rock Glacier and Geierhaupt

WI_at116_813.jpg

Panoramic view from Hirschkarlgrat in SW direction. Periglacial processes have played a big role in landscape evolution: the large tongue-shpaped structure at the bottom of Hölltal in the centre of the scene is a relict rock glacier. Summits in the central and right background are Höllkogel (2323 m), Geierhaupt (2417 m), and Grieskogel (2328 m).
