Wurzeralm | Teichlboden with Warscheneck

Teichlboden, a wetland at the bottom of a polje in the intensively karstified Totes Gebirge (literally Dead mountains). This protected area, characterized by the abundance of cotton grass (Eriophorum sp.), forms part of the Wurzeralm, which is also used for tourism and seasonal cattle grazing. Warscheneck (2388 m) can be seen in the background.
