View from Monte San Simeone in NE direction to the lowermost section of the Canal del Ferro with the braided Fella river, close to its confluence with Tagliamento. The village on the right side is Carnia, whereas the peaks in the background are (from left to right) Monte Sernio (21885 m), Creta Grauzaria (2063 m), Monte Cavallo (2239 m) at the border to Austria, and Zuc dal Bôr (2195 m). The valley is heavily used for traffic (motorway, railway, and national road).
