The area of Tinghir includes various villages along an oasis extending for 30 km along the Wadi Togdha. The palm groves (date palm Phoenix dactylifera) and the farmland are irrigated by a system of canals and pipes. Wadi Todgha originates in the High Atlas, the Anti-Atlas appears in the background.
