This national park in the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986 as part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. The Antarctic beech (centre of the image, formerly known as Nothofagus moorei) is an important component of Australia's temperate mountain rainforests.
