View from the Rempart de Bellecombe between Piton de Partage and Nez Coupé de Sainte-Rose into the Enclos Fouqué. Five days after the start of the initial fissure eruption, the volcanic activity now concentrates at one spot. Material ejected there has piled up to a cone of considerable dimensions.
