Coney Island | Beach

The peninsular neighbourhood of Coney Island (part of Brooklyn) is known for its recreation and entertainment facilities such as beaches and amusement parks. It boomed in the first half of the 20th century. After a period of decline and dilapidation thereafter, some re-development took place in more recent years.
