Late afternoon view from Conzelmann Road. This suspension bridge crosses the strait between the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. Its main span of 1280 m remained the World's longest from the completion of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937 until 1964. The structure is often considered the most beautiful bridge in the world and represents a major iconic landmark of the USA.
