These parallel bridges carry the Interstate 80 across the Carquinez Strait. The suspension bridge (Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge) with a main span of 730 m is shown less than two months before completion and carries the S-bound traffic. One of the two cantilever bridges was later demolished, whereas the other one carries the N-bound traffic.
