Late afternoon panoramic view from Ojstrica viewpoint across Lake Bled towards northeast to the valley of the Sava and the mountain range of the Karawanks in the background, forming the border to Austria. The lake is of mixed glacial and tectonic origin. The centre of the photograph is dominated by the medieval Bled Castle, Bled Island with the pilgrimage church Assumption of Mary, and the town of Bled.
