View from the roof terrace of Hotel La Aurora towards south. The Plaza Belén appears in the centre of the image. As Huaraz - capital city of the Ancash Region - was badly affected by an earthquake on 31 May 1970 and had to be rebuilt afterwards, it is characterized by modern architecture.
