View from the roof terrace of the Hotel La Aurora in S direction. The Plaza de Belén appears in the centre of the image. As Huaraz - capital city of the Ancash region - was badly affected by an earthquake on 31 May 1970 and had to be rebuilt afterwards, it is characterized by modern architecture.
