View from the south bank of the Humber estuary in northeastern direction. With a main span of 1410 m, the Humber Bridge was the longest-span suspension bridge worldwide from its completion in 1981 until 1998. It connects Barton-upon-Humber and Hessle near Kingston upon Hull.
