View from Newcastle's Quayside across the River Tyne. Formerly representing an industrial area in a state of decay, the Quayside has been redeveloped to a modern environment for various types of cultural activities as well as for housing. The building of the Baltic Flour Mill has been converted into the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.
