Loch Fada and the road A855 appear in the foreground of the photograph, whereas The Storr can be seen in northeastern direction in the central background. The escarpment and the rugged slopes of this 719 m high hill form part of a huge old landslide having shaped the entire eastern part of the Trotternish Peninsula.
