View from the Rishi Road between Siliguri and Mirik in NE direction. The rugged area in the centre of the photo forms part of a reactivation of the toe of a large landslide system, triggered by strong monsoonal rainfall in 1968. After some decades of activity, the situation has temporarily stabilized and only some scars remain active.
