Flight Delhi - Bagdogra. The Mechi River appears at the right bottom of the photograph. The structures in the centre most likely represent brickworks, making use of the fine sediment deposited in this place near the border between India and Nepal, more than 50 km away from the southern margin of the Himalaya.
