Brașov | Strada Michael Weiss

WI_ro110.jpg

The name of this road indicates the major role Germans played in the history of Brașov (in German: Kronstadt). They immigrated from the 12th Century onwards and, around 1850, represented 40 percent of the population of the town. In the 21st Century it is mainly road names and some traditions reminding of this heritage.
