Cerro Arenales and Glaciar Colonia

View in E direction. Cerro Arenales in the left centre of the photograph, 3437 m high, is a stratovolcano recognized as such as late as in the 1960s. The background is dominated by the Glaciar Colonia, an outlet glacier from the Northern Patagonian Ice Field, ending up in the lake of the same name.
