View from Alto Hospicio in NW direction down to Cerro Dragón and to Iquique. The enormous dune Cerro Dragón has developed during the Ice Ages when a sand-covered marine terrace, now submerged beneath the sea surface, was exposed to the winds. It is popular for sandboarding and paragliding.
