Le Prêcheur | Falaise Samperre

View from Morne Vert Pré. This cliff exposes mainly pyroclastic deposits at the western slope of Montagne Pelée. It is the source of repeated rockfall activity. The rock fall deposits are mobilized during rainfall events, resulting in lahar flows travelling all the way to the village of Le Prêcheur and the sea.
