View from the summit area of Óshyrna. Its slopes are the scene of frequent landslides such as this ancient rock avalanche. The road running along the base of the mountain, connecting Ísafjörður and Bolungarvík, was heavily exposed to rock fall hazards and has therefore been replaced by a tunnel.
