Grundarfjörður | Kirkjufellsfoss with Kirkjufell

WI_is204.jpg

Sunset view in non-excellent light conditions. Kirkufell (463 m) consists of volcanic rocks and sandstone. Its shape was carved by Pleistocene glaciers. Kirkjufellsfoss in the foreground and Kirkufell in the background is probably one of the most-photographed scenes in Iceland.
