The Alhambra represents a complex of palaces and fortresses declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. It includes the Palacios Nazaríes, often considered the finest piece of Islamic architecture in Europe. They date back to the 14th century. The Garden of the Partal represents a 20th century reconstruction of the original garden.
