Summit elevation: 1910 m. The Polster forms part of the Eisenerzer Alpen, consisting of Paleozoic sedimentary and slightly metamorphic rocks of the greywacke zone. Eisenerzer Reichenstein (2165 m) can be seen in the left central background of the photo.
