Panoramic view from the summit of Polster in SW direction. The mountains seen in the photo, such as Eisenerzer Reichenstein (2165 m) in the centre, are mostly part of the Eisenerzer Alpen, made of sedimentary and slightly metamorphic rocks of the greywacke zone. These rocks are commonly rich in ore minerals: the Erzberg in the right portion of the photo is famous for iron mining. The town of Eisenerz (literally meaning "iron ore") can be seen near the right edge.
