View from Aiguille du Midi 2800 vertical metres down to the Arve Valley with Chamonix (partly shred in morning fog) and the Aiguilles Rouges with Le Brévent (2525 m) in the centre and Aiguille de Belvédère (2965 m) in the right centre. The Faucigny massif with the Désert de Platé and the Rochers des Fiz (2804 m) can be seen in the left central background, whereas the highest peaks of the Chablais, Tour Sallière (3220 m) and Dents du Midi (3258 m), both on Swiss territory, appear in the right background of the photo.
