View from Plan de l'Aiguille to the tongue of the Bossons Glacier. The proglacial lake is located at approx. 1800 m asl. The left part of the glacier tongue (behind the lake) reaches even farther down. The glacierized summits are Mont Blanc (4806 m) near the very left edge of the image, Dôme du Goûter (4304 m), and Aiguille du Goûter (3863 m).
