View from the summit area of Punta del Drinc in NE direction down to the ski resort village of Pila and to the Aosta Valley with its capital Aosta. Pila has developed in the second half of the 20th Century in an area formerly characterized by alpine pastures with some small settlements. It is connected to Aosta by a road, but also by a cable car.
