Anzasca Valley | Terminus of Belvedere Glacier

View from the vicinity of Alpe Roffelstafel in SW direction to the debris-covered left tongue of the Belvedere Glacier with its terminus and very pronounced lateral moraines, most probably dating back to the maximum of the Little Ice Age (mid 19th Century). The 2600 m high E face of Monte Rosa can partly be seen in the background of the image.
