View from the slope of Plattjen down to a horseshoe-shaped complex of terminal and lateral moraines, most probably dating back to the maximum of the Little Ice Age in the mid 19th century. The cone in the right portion of the photo is prone to snow avalanches, so that a protection wall had to be built to keep avalanches away from infrastructure.
