View from the spire of Vor Frelsers Church across the neighbourhood of Christianshavn in N direction. This part of the city was established in the early 17th century as a merchant's town on an ensemble of artificial islands between Sjælland and Amager. It has evolved from a working class area into a rather diverse social environment.
