View from the tower of the abandoned St. Nicholas' Church in N direction to the Hamburg City Hall. Designed in Neo-Renaissance style outside, this building opened its doors in 1897, more than 50 years after the old city hall had been destroyed in a fire. The lakes of the Binnenalster and the Außenalster can be seen in the background of the photo.
