View from the surroundings of Bratislava Castle to the Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising. Opened in 1972, this cable-stayed bridge crosses the Danube river in one single span of approx. 300 m length, connecting the historic centre (Staré Mesto) with the borough of Petržalka (seen in the background of the photo).
