Achadas da Cruz | Fajã Quebrada Nova
View from the upper cable car station down to the fields and gardens of Fajã Quebrada Nova at the bottom of a 500 m high, near-vertical coastal cliff. Use of the scarce space at the bottom of the cliff enables the farmers to grow different crops than can be cultivated at higher elevation in the direct surroundings of the village.
