View from Pico do Facho over the port of Caniçal in NE direction to the Ponta de São Lourenço. This peninsula, forming the easternmost tip of Madeira, receives comparatively little rainfall and stands in sharp contrast to the rest of the island. The small village seen in the centre of the scene is Quinta do Lorde.
