View from the vicinity of Monte Tchota in W direction across the fluvially dissected volcanic slopes leading down to the Atlantic Ocean. The lush green of the vegetation persists for few months each year. After the short rainy season, colours turn to yellowish and brownish in October or November, and remain so until the following August.
