View of one of the numerous residential neighbourhoods on the hillslopes of Medellín. Satellite images reveal that this settlement emerged within few months between May 2017 and January 2018, most probably through land invasion. It is still in an early stage of development, with simple buildings prevailing. Later on, when the inhabitants will have managed to earn some more money, the quality of the buildings will gradually improve.
