View from the SW slope of Pfenningberg to the steel production facilities of the Voestalpine. Two bridges are shown, crossing the Danube between Linz and Steyregg: the cable-stayed bridge in the foreground was completed in 1979 and carries the road traffic, whereas the frame bridge behind, first opened in 1873 and partly rebuilt until 1925, carries the rail traffic. The Totes Gebirge with Großer Priel (2515 m) rises behind the misty N Alpine foreland.
