View from the summit area of Guajara along the escarpment of the cauldron known as Las Cañadas in SW direction. Las Cañadas, shown on the right side, is the result of mountain collapses rather than a real caldera. The pronounced peak in the centre of the image is the W of two summits known as El Sombrero (2532 m), whereas the islands of El Hierro and La Gomera can be seen in the background.
