View from the Mirador de las Narices del Teide up the slope of Pico Viejo (3134 m) in NE direction. The dark area in the upper centre of the image is Montaña Chahorra, also known as Narices del Teide (literally: Teide's noses). It formed in 1798, during the most recent eruption of the Pico del Teide - Pico Viejo volcanic complex.
