Barranco de Cuevas Negras | Dracaena draco

WI_ctf712.jpg

The dragon tree (endemic to Macaronesia and western Morocco) is mainly known as an ornamental plant, but quite rare and endangered in the wild. This specimen grows in a remote and hardly accessible spot of the Barranco de Cuevas Negras in the Teno mountains.
