Seckauer Tauern | Hölltal and Geierhaupt

WI_at116_810.jpg

Panoramic morning view from the slopes of Hirschkarlgrat in W direction. Periglacial processes have played an important role in landscape evolution: the large tongue-shaped structure at the bottom of Hölltal (right centre of the photo) is a relict rock glacier. Höllkogel (2323 m) and Geierhaupt (2417 m) can be seen in the background.
