Panoramic morning view from Stubwieswipfel (shadowing the central foreground) over the Wurzeralm, used for tourism and seasonal cattle grazing, in W direction. The Warscheneck (2388), consisting of layered limestone, appears behind to the right. The whole area forms part of the intensively karstified Totes Gebirge (literally "Dead mountains"). The depression of the Wurzeralm, with the wetland of the Teichlboden at the bottom, represents a polje.
