View in NE direction. Roughly 400 people live in the only settlement of Corvo. They have to travel to other islands for many services, using the harbour shown on the right side of the photo or the small airport. During severe winter storms, when both sea and air traffic are suspended, Corvo is one of the most isolated places of the European Union.
