View from Pico Alto, the summit crater of Montanha do Pico, in SE direction to the S coast with Lajes do Pico. The peninsula with Lajes belongs to the Topo volcanic system, representing the oldest part of the island. Pico Geraldo (467 m, left side of the picture) represents a secondary cone on its slope.
